Local Candidate Forums

The League sponsored several candidate forums for the November 3, 2015 local elections. The League maintains a strict nonpartisan policy when participating in candidate or issue forums. Forums moderated by the League of Women Voters are conducted using League procedures and provide an opportunity for the voters to hear and question the candidates.

The following information for viewing election forums is provided by the Mid-Peninsula Media Center.

We have four programs for San Mateo County voters.

Redwood City Council Candidates Forum

Sequoia Union High School District Board Candidates Forum

Redwood City School District Board Candidates Forum

San Mateo County Community College Board of Directors statements

All 4 shows are uploaded in a single playlist called Elections 2015

All of the internet links as well as links to the TV playback times for each program can also be found on the Media Center's Election Page for San Mateo Voters

Easy Voter Guide The Easy Voter Guide helps new voters and busy voters learn about how to vote and what will be on the ballot in statewide elections. It also helps people learn how to make change in their community.
