Keynote speaker: David Rosen, a leading expert in the field of affordable housing finance, policy, land use, lending and investment strategic planning.
There will also be panels of experts on these topics:
- Meeting regional housing needs in light of the sustainable communities' strategy
- Difficulties of financing affordable housing
- How to serve the hardest to house
- Implementation of SB 375
- Sources and uses of public money
- Difficulties of community support
There will be plenty of time for questions from the audience during each panel.
Cost: In advance: $30 ($15 without lunch); at the door $35 ($20 without lunch).

Wanda Ginner and Joyce Tavrow, League members who are on the statewide committee to organize the Initiative and Referendum Study will speak.
Also, this is the annual meeting to discuss and approve the year's positions and priorities at the county level.

Cathy Lazarus from Mountain View/Los Altos will moderate panel with Jane Light, San Jose Librarian who'll talk about trend to privatize libraries and (tentatively) John Tang, government relations person from San Jose Water to talk about benefits of privatization.
